Pozzomaggiore is a village with about 3.200 inhabitants, situated in the centre-north-west part of Sardinia, in province of Sassari, in the Mejlogu zone.

DISTANCES

Village is 30 Km. far from the sea, in fact this is the distance from villages Bosa and Porto Alabe. Pozzomaggiore is only 56 Km. far from Sassari, the chief town of the province, 48 Km. far from the renowned turistic city of Alghero and just 12 Km. from the Main Road 131 (called "Superstrada") which allows to go on to every directions.

HOW TO GET HERE

From Sassari and Porto Torres: take the main road 131 and turn right at the crossroads to Pozzomaggiore;

From Cagliari and Oristano: take the main road 131 and turn left to Semestene (100 m. further ahead than the crossroads to Bonorva);

From Bosa: take the road toward Suni and when you get to the village turn at the crossroads to Padria e Pozzomaggiore;

From Alghero: take the road toward Villanova Monteleone and when you get to the village, take the road toward Padria e Mara.

In the map Mara (3 Km far from Pozzomaggiore), Cossoine (7 Km) and Semestene (6 Km) are missing.

POZZOMAGGIORE - L'ELISIR

ARRIVALS FROM:

Sassari and Porto Torres: from COSSOINE road - turn left go straight ahead till you get Via Dante turn right and enter Via Carducci, at the end of this street you'll be in Via Galilei. You're here at last!

Cagliari and Oristano: from BONORVA and Semestene road - turn right till you get Via Dante, then turn right and enter Via Carducci, at the end of this street you'll be in Via Galilei. You're here at last!

Bosa: from BOSA road - drive all along the ring road till you get (on the left) Via Dante, then turn right and enter Via Carducci, at the end of this street you'll be in Via Galilei. You're here at last!

Alghero: from MARA road - turn right as soon as you get to Pozzomaggiore and go on to the main street (Via La Madonnina) till the end of it where there's a STOP, turn left and take the ring road, go ahead till you get at Via Dante, then turn right and enter Via Carducci, at the end of this street you'll be in Via Galilei. You're here at last!
